Seed the Ground have teamed up with renowned coffee roaster, Allpress to keep used coffee grinds out of landfill
Gold Coast Circular Economy in action
In a bold move towards sustainability, Allpress Espresso has forged a partnership with Seed The Ground, in the form of a Product Stewardship initiative. This venture has supported ten supplier cafes, including local favourites like Nectar (nestled within the North Burleigh Surf Club), Sparrow, Urban Eatery, and Alfreds Apartment, to join the cause and keep their coffee out of landfill.
Traditionally, used coffee grinds would end up in black plastic bin bags en route to Gold Coast landfill. However, this groundbreaking collaboration will see coffee grinds composted by Seed the Ground, nourishing the soil and sowing the seeds of a sustainable future.
Together with these cafes we’re making an impact.
